Julia Anglin (geb. 1995) ist eine Sängerin, Songwriterin und Producerin.
Musik war für Julia schon immer eine Konstante, die ihr Halt gab. Aufgewachsen in den USA und durch viele Umzüge in ihrer Kindheit geprägt, entwickelte sie früh eine tiefe Leidenschaft für Musik. Im Alter von 11 Jahren begann sie mit Gesangsunterricht und legte damit den Grundstein für ihre musikalische Laufbahn.
Mit 17 zog sie nach Deutschland und studierte nach ihrem Schulabschluss an der renommierten Robert Schumann Hochschule für Musik in Düsseldorf mit dem Schwerpunkt Jazz Pop Gesang und Medien. 2021 nahm sie am Popkurs Hamburg teil und vertiefte ihre Popmusik Kenntnisse. Seit 2022 ist sie Mitglied des „Female Producer Collective“, einem Netzwerk, das sich für die Förderung von Frauen in der Musikproduktion einsetzt.
Wenn sie nicht am Unterrichten ist, arbeitet Julia an ihrem Soloprojekt Julene sowie an ihren Bandprojekten Moody Monks und Crushcast. Aktuell setzt sie ihr künstlerisches Schaffen mit einem Masterstudium in Popularmusik an der Folkwang Universität der Künste fort, das sie 2025 abschließen wird.

Music has always been a constant source of support for Julia. Growing up in the USA and shaped by frequent moves during her childhood, she developed a deep passion for music early on. At the age of 11, she began taking vocal lessons, laying the foundation for her musical career.
At 17, she moved to Germany and, after finishing school, studied at the prestigious Robert Schumann Hochschule für Musik in Düsseldorf, focusing on Jazz Pop vocals and media. In 2021, she participated in the Popkurs Hamburg, where she deepened her expertise in pop music. Since 2022, she has been a member of the "Female Producer Collective," a network dedicated to promoting women in music production.
When she’s not teaching, Julia works on her solo project Julene as well as her band projects Moody Monks and Crushcast. She is currently advancing her artistic journey with a master’s degree in Popular Music at the Folkwang University of the Arts, which she is set to complete in 2025.
